Dental Holding expands in Greece with Memodent and Oral Vision
The addition of Memodent and Oral Vision combines deep Greek market expertise with Dental Holding’s regional scale, logistics and digital capabilities.

More than 10,000 dental clinics and approximately 1,500 laboratories across Greece already rely on Memodent for products, equipment and professional support. By bringing Memodent Group — Memodent S.A. and Oral Vision IKE — into Dental Holding, we are combining that strong local foundation with the scale and capabilities of a regional dental distribution platform.
A stronger platform for the Greek dental market
Dental Holding’s presence in Greece began before this acquisition. Dentstore Greece opened in 2024, establishing a modern logistics operation designed to supply dental professionals with consumables, equipment and technology.
The addition of Memodent and Oral Vision takes that presence further. It brings together local customer relationships developed over more than two decades, specialist knowledge in digital dentistry and a broader regional infrastructure spanning Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary and Croatia.
This is Dental Holding’s seventh strategic expansion in the dental distribution sector, following the group’s entry into Hungary and Croatia during the first half of 2025. The enlarged group expects revenues to exceed EUR 130 million in 2026.
Two businesses with complementary capabilities
Founded in Athens in 2000 by Agamemnon Xenoudakis, Georgios Xenoudakis and Vasilis Papadimitropoulos, Memodent has grown into one of Greece’s leading dental distributors.
Its portfolio covers the everyday needs of dental clinics and laboratories, supported by established relationships with international manufacturers including Dentsply Sirona, 3M, Ivoclar and W&H. The company’s strength comes not only from the scale of its product offering, but also from the trust built with dental professionals throughout Greece.
Oral Vision adds a more specialized capability to the group. Its work is focused on CAD/CAM technologies, digital workflows and advanced equipment for clinics and dental laboratories. Through technical consulting and workflow integration, Oral Vision helps professionals adopt digital systems that can improve precision, efficiency and predictability in their daily work.
Together, Memodent and Oral Vision provide a combination of national distribution coverage and hands-on digital dentistry expertise. Dental Holding contributes regional scale, logistics infrastructure, process automation and experience operating across several Central and Eastern European markets.
Growth built on continuity
The integration is designed to preserve what made Memodent successful. Its founders remain involved in managing the Greek operations, maintaining continuity for employees, customers and commercial partners.
That continuity matters. Dental distribution depends on more than moving products from a warehouse to a clinic. It requires technical knowledge, responsive service and an understanding of how professionals use products and equipment in real clinical and laboratory workflows.
By keeping the local leadership team in place, Dental Holding can support growth without losing the market knowledge and customer relationships developed by Memodent over the past 25 years.
Bogdan Tufeanu, CEO of Dental Holding, highlighted the operational priority behind the acquisition:
“We will continue to invest in automation and digital platforms to improve efficiency and deliver even greater value to our customers.”
The transaction was supported by Abris Capital Partners. Legal advice was provided by DLA Piper Romania and Potamitis Vekris, with PwC Greece providing financial and tax advice. The Greek foreign investment filing received Phase I clearance.
What comes next
For Dental Holding, entering a new stage of development in Greece is not simply about becoming larger. The objective is to build a stronger operating platform around the needs of dental professionals.
Combining Dentstore Greece’s logistics capabilities, Memodent’s market reach and Oral Vision’s digital expertise creates a broader foundation for customer service, technical support and access to modern dental technologies.
For clinics and laboratories, the local teams and trusted relationships remain. Behind them is now a regional group able to invest further in inventory, digital platforms, automation and professional education.
This is how Dental Holding intends to grow: by pairing regional resources with strong local companies and the people who built them.
